Who is involved?
The Al-Shabaab rebels are involved in to ties to Al Qeada.
Where did it take place?
They are stationed in Somalia , Africa , eastern and northern hemisphere.
When did the event take place?
The event happened on Thursday Febuary 9 , 2012.
What happened?
The leader, Mukhtar al-Zubair declared on Thursday Febuary 9, 2012 that 'On the behalf of the soilders and officers we pledge allegiance to you.'Pretty much that means they have joined forces with Al Qaeda. And their leader Al Zubair congratulated him 'for the defeat of the crusaders in Afghanistan and Iraq." Al Zawahiri also said that'the Arab region is slipping from Americas grip.'They also pledged to Osama Bin Laden.
How did it happen/ how did it happen?
Al shabaab joined Al qaeda so they can strenthen their armies.Their numbers were dwindling so they had to join forces to keep up their numbers. Plus they both don't like America.
The rebels are all over Somalia.
My opinion.
My opinion is that we should stop them because if they attack America they will have the equivilent of two armies!
