Who was involved
Libyan civilians and NATO soldiers were involved in this event.

Where it happened:
This happened in Tripoli, Libya, Africa, Northern and Eastern Hemisphere.

When it happened:
This event took place on October 31, 2011

What happened:
‍‍‍‍What happened, according to New York Times, was a very destructive accident made by NATO that cost many people their lives, as well as their homes. The operation performed by NATO seemed very well thought out at first, but when it was actually checked out, it was revealed that at least 40 people (possibly over 70) were annihilated by these airstrikes. Family homes and people weren't the only things that were destroyed, dozens of residential compounds, factories, a tomato storage area, and even an ambulance were obliterated as well, when questioned about this, they claim they express deep sorrow, when in actuality, they refuse to investigate it themselves, and explicitly deny blowing up the ambulance. some notable casualties were:
  1. A boy took a cluster of debris to the face and has many scars along with being blind in one eye.
  2. Mustafa Naji al-Morabit's wife died of a crushed skull, along with her 6 and 3 year old sons
  3. a family of 4 died from the front of a 3-story house collapsing and burying them alive, including their children, one 2 years old, the other 7 MONTHS old.
  4. A man and his 2 cousins went help some wounded, both his cousins died, one from a gaping hole in his chest, ‍‍‍another from being blown in half.‍‍‍
  5. A baby BEING BORN was destroyed by a 500-pound, laser GUIDED missile along with its her mother who was in labor.
  6. A woman named Aisha Abdujodil was killed, both arms severed, bloodstains still mark the walls

To make things worse, none of the patients being treated were "intended" targets.

Why/how did it happen:

The reason why this happened was because that were trying to hit a group of convoys that belonged to a rebel group. (they succeeded by the way, just to satisfy curiosity.) Another reason why is because they didn't follow a important rule: never fire rockets when there are civilians nearby (or something like that) as well as the fact that their "precision" was a total lie.

My Opinion:

I'll be honest when i first read about the tomato warehouse exploding i thought it was kinda funny (i had just read that heading at the time.) but as ACTUALLY started to read it, it just kept on getting darker and darker, and by the time i read about the dead baby being born, i was like: " I call SHENANIGANS! you can never hit that many civilians on accident with NOT ONE of the intended targets around!" ‍‍‍as well as the part with the guy that was blown in half. I personally thought that that must be a horrible way to die. ‍‍‍
