Why did it happen?
The wives of army pesonel where angry at ATT for failing to find a soulution to the problem with the Tuareg sepratists.
What happened?
The wives of army personel grilled ATT on television for doing poorly on the problem with the Tuareg sepratists, who are rebels that don't like the government. They put up posters that say things such as 'Down with ATT. Get out.' and other hateful slogans meant to infuriate the government. The wives questioned him for over 2 hours, wanting to know if this or that was true, or if the rumors had truth in them. One women wanted to know if the rumor that he was supplying and assisting the sepratists. He replied that they should stop spreading rumors about him leading the Tuaregs, and that "What needs to be done, will be done." and "If we need to go to war, we will go to war." One reporter said he was surprized that he let himself be questioned by the women, but glad he did, because there where many bad rumors going around about him. One school kid said he didn't think they had a solution to the problem, an dthat they should let the presidential canidates do the job.
My Opinion.
I think that the government is being lazy, and should solve the problem before is slips through their fingers, and they are left like sitting ducks.
